DojoStack Labs LLC ("DojoStack," "we," "us," or "our") provides SMS messaging services to martial arts schools and their students for important communications including class reminders, promotional offers, billing notifications, and other school-related updates.
Twilio Proof of Consent Requirement
This page serves as documented proof of consent for SMS messaging as required by Twilio's Messaging Policy and TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) compliance. By opting in to receive SMS messages from your martial arts school via DojoStack, you explicitly consent to receive text messages.
How Opt-In Works
1. Initial Consent Collection
Consent is collected when you:
- Sign up for membership at a DojoStack-powered martial arts school
- Complete an online form and check the SMS opt-in box
- Send a keyword (such as "START" or "JOIN") to your school's designated phone number
- Provide your phone number and explicitly agree to receive text messages
2. Types of Messages You May Receive
- Transactional: Class reminders, schedule changes, membership confirmations
- Billing: Payment reminders, receipt confirmations, failed payment notifications
- Promotional: Special offers, trial class invitations, event announcements
- Operational: School closures, emergency alerts, important updates
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your school's communication needs and your membership status. You may receive anywhere from 2-10 messages per month. Promotional messages will be sent no more than 4 times per month unless you've opted into specific campaigns.
4. Message & Data Rates
Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan. DojoStack does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may charge for incoming text messages.
Your Rights & Opt-Out Options
How to Opt-Out (Unsubscribe)
You can opt-out of SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or CANCEL to any message
- Contacting your martial arts school directly
- Contacting DojoStack support at support@dojostacklabs.com
After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message, and then no further messages will be sent unless you re-opt in.
Opt Back In
If you previously opted out and wish to receive messages again, reply START or UNSTOP to your school's phone number, or contact your school to re-enable SMS.

Privacy & Data Protection
Your phone number and message data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Storage & Security
- Phone numbers are securely stored and encrypted
- Message history is retained for operational and compliance purposes
- SMS delivery is powered by Twilio, a SOC 2 Type II certified provider
- You may request deletion of your data by contacting support
Carrier & Platform Compatibility
DojoStack SMS works with all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and others. Not all mobile devices or plans support SMS. If you're having trouble receiving messages, contact your carrier to ensure SMS is enabled.
TCPA Compliance Statement
DojoStack Labs complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and requires explicit opt-in consent before sending marketing or promotional SMS messages. We maintain records of consent and provide easy opt-out mechanisms as required by law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this SMS Opt-In policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of SMS services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
